Nearly Finished

The stitching is finished on Victoria Sampler Happy Birthday Sampler! Just this morning I did the needle weaving in the center square of the hardanger section at the bottom of the sampler.

Thea has put up tutorials for some of her designs on Youtube and they're really closely photographed and detailed. Perfect for viewing before attempting the stitch and/or during stitching.

Above is the center bands that I finished this week. From top to bottom: Irish stitch, Ray stitch, Triple Rice stitch, Holbein Zig Zag stitch, Four-Sided Hemstitch, and Double Leviathan stitch. So much fun! Especially using variegated threads and two colors of floss in some of the stitches.

Next up for this piece - beading!!

No special plans for us this weekend so I should get caught up on laundry and some housework, plus lesson planning for my ESL class. Of course, football games will be watched too, lol!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
