WIP Wednesday

Hello friends! I hope you've been having a good week. It's been a pretty good one for me. This morning I took 3 of my grandkids out for the morning. We started off taking our schnauzer, Fritz, to the groomer, then hit McDonalds for a mid-morning snack and playtime. Afterwards, we stopped at the grocery store for some supplies, then to my house to unload, watch a couple of cartoons, then return to the kids to their home. It was fun taking some little ones out on errands like the old days!

On the stitching front I've made some nice progress on my little farm:

Babe's Honey Farm - Victoria Sampler
I bought the accessory pack from VS for this design which is very convenient when kitting up a project! Of course, VS uses quite a bit of silk threads in the designs. It's been awhile since I've used it and my love of silk has been renewed. It's such a soft, luxurious fiber!

A Moment in Chalk also came out for a little bit more progress.

A Moment in Chalk - Hands On Designs
You can see I'm almost finished with the word beauty. And beauty is an appropriate word for this design!

Unfortunately I waited until late in the day, after dark, to take these pictures so the quality is even lower than usual. Sorry about that!

The air today had a definite chill to it. I think we may get some more appropriate November weather here soon.

Keep on stitching!

So great to spend a morning's errands with some of your grandkids. They must love these mornings.
