Thorny Thursday

It's the first day of fall. The lawn has a few leaves scattered around; soon the raking and blowing of the leaves will begin - ugh. But till then, let's enjoy visiting the garden!

Lovely flowers. I used to have to rake for weeks - now I don't have to at all!

Always lovely. I have a few, beautiful to me, roses blooming, but they are so surrounded by weeds I'm ashamed to make a picture. If the temps will ever get out of the 90's with high humidity I promise I'll get out there. Enjoying your lovely garden.

Your garden is still full of lovely blooms. Here's hoping the sun returns for the weekend (rainy here today).

Great pictures of your rose garden which is so beautiful to look at.
We won't have to rake as many leaves as all the years before because we chopped down four large trees last fall. They overshadowed everything else and each spring and fall there was a mess on the lawn. Now it will be only the leaves of the shrubs.
