The very first peony blossom from my garden!
It was hiding behind the irises, so thought I'd cut it to enjoy inside. At long last my waiting has been rewarded.
While cutting the peony, I brought in a couple of roses to keep it company. May it be the first of many such bouquets this season!

What pretty, pretty flowers!!! I love peonies; they are such gorgeous flowers. No blooms yet in my neck of the woods.....
Beautiful flowers. Ours are just starting to come out here. We planted some that would come out at different times of the summer to keep color going. A sure sign that summer is coming when they start blooming!
Lovely flowers Von, my peony's have just come out too but I won't have any roses for several weeks yet.
Hi Von, My Peonies are about finished now I have this ivory coloured one and a pink one, I love them ! I worked for Chanel and know they were Coco Chanels favourite flower, did you know that ?

Just love peonies my grandmothers house had them all over. The roses are pretty too. CJ ok;-)
What a treat to see these beauties, Von. I love peonies and roses. Your room had to be heavenly with those gorgeous bloosoms! Hugs, Deb
I have been visiting our house with the grass and gardens and waiting for the peonies to burst, at which point I will burst into tears that they aren't at my new house with the dirt and dust for landscape.
Peonies are my absolute favorite flower!
