First

The very first peony blossom from my garden!

It was hiding behind the irises, so thought I'd cut it to enjoy inside. At long last my waiting has been rewarded.

While cutting the peony, I brought in a couple of roses to keep it company. May it be the first of many such bouquets this season!

Beautiful flowers. Ours are just starting to come out here. We planted some that would come out at different times of the summer to keep color going. A sure sign that summer is coming when they start blooming!

I have been visiting our house with the grass and gardens and waiting for the peonies to burst, at which point I will burst into tears that they aren't at my new house with the dirt and dust for landscape.

Peonies are my absolute favorite flower!
