The finishing isn't perfect, but I'm happy anyway! This is the design that I kitted for the older American Heritage Girls to earn their Needle Arts badge, and I thought it only right that I stitch it along with them. Just hope the girls enjoy stitching it as much as I did!

This is adorable, Von! Love it. Can't see why you think the finishing isn't perfect!
I agree with Isabelle - the finishing looks great to me! And what a charming design!!
I agree with the other ladies - it looks great to me. It's a really nice introduction to stitching for the girls - simple, but still looks great. It will be a very nice keepsake for them in years to come.
Von, your kidding right? Looks perfect to me. Very pretty finish.
Oh it looks wonderful Von, What a lovely remember what I was doing then piece.
It is lovely, Von and it looks perfect to me too :)
What a great project to start girls on cross stitching. If this doesn't encourage them to love cross stitching, I can't imagine what would! Your finishing looks great!
I agree with the others-this is just too cute! I love the snow effect. I am doing something like this for the lottery Becky has.
Your ornament is wonderful Von. So glad the girls enjoyed themselves :-)
Beautiful embroidery!
Kind regards,
Sonnja, from the Netherlands
A beautiful finish and simple and effective for beginners! A great choice.
Von, it's really lovely and adorble!
It's perfect, Von!! You are kidding! So sweet to me!
Congratulations!
It's lovely and your finishing is perfect! I have this same design stitched but not finished yet... :)
I stitched this ornament last year and really enjoyed it. I love the squirrels, but can barely do any patterns anymore without making some changes. My fabric was lighter, my snow was sparkly, and I used Rainbow Gallery Designer's Dream to make the tails fluffy. I love that thread. Great choice and great finish. Mine is stitched, but not finished. Finishing is not my strong suit.
