:-)

The finishing isn't perfect, but I'm happy anyway! This is the design that I kitted for the older American Heritage Girls to earn their Needle Arts badge, and I thought it only right that I stitch it along with them. Just hope the girls enjoy stitching it as much as I did!

This is adorable, Von! Love it. Can't see why you think the finishing isn't perfect!

I agree with the other ladies - it looks great to me. It's a really nice introduction to stitching for the girls - simple, but still looks great. It will be a very nice keepsake for them in years to come.

What a great project to start girls on cross stitching. If this doesn't encourage them to love cross stitching, I can't imagine what would! Your finishing looks great!

I agree with the others-this is just too cute! I love the snow effect. I am doing something like this for the lottery Becky has.

I stitched this ornament last year and really enjoyed it. I love the squirrels, but can barely do any patterns anymore without making some changes. My fabric was lighter, my snow was sparkly, and I used Rainbow Gallery Designer's Dream to make the tails fluffy. I love that thread. Great choice and great finish. Mine is stitched, but not finished. Finishing is not my strong suit.
