The other two pots were made by my twins at Cadets yesterday - for Mother's Day. They made some cute cards to go along with that will definitely have to go into my keepsake box - the cards are sooooooo 12-yo boy!
The other landscaping bid came in on Wednesday and was so good, we can add some of the patio work that we were thinking we'd have to do ourselves - yay! We'll get started the first week of June.
In the meantime, I'm taking great pleasure in my half-started rose garden. I began last summer with a big hole and about ten tiny little rose plants - own-root roses I bought at a nursery near Portland, Oregon. I'm really happy with the way they are growing. (Pic of same area last fall)
The bushes have lots of buds and will soon be blooming - I can hardly wait!!

Nice pots, Von, but I need to ask ... what's a "bunco"?
:)
lol - Ditto what Mel said - pretty much word for word!
Lovely flowers and plants. I need to seriously think about my yard, but it has been so cool here that I just haven't done much work outside yet. The weeds seem to be growing fine without any help from me, though!! LOL.
What a great bunch of flowers you've gotten, from your Bunco win and the twins. Very sweet! :) I hope you had a wonderful mother's day!
