In Boise

It's been a lovely Thanksgiving holiday with the family here in Boise. As always, very relaxed, very low key, very good food. :) The inversion was plaguing Boise as well as the Tri-Cities, but Friday evening the rain turned to snow, then the breeze picked up in the night, and we awoke to sunny skies here this morning! Just gorgeous! The mountains all around the city are snow covered (just a little) and with the sun shining and the clear blue sky, Boise was simply stunning today.

Friday I was able to spend a couple of hours at The Needlework Studio, a very nice shop that I always visit when in town. Had a very nice talk with the owner while going through all the designs, she has seven children and obviously loves needlework, so we had an instant connection. Of course, a nice bag of stash came home with me as well as the promise of more in the mail when her order from Victoria Sampler comes in! Jingle Bells Christmas Tree Farm was on my "must buy" list and it won't be long before it's safely in my anxiously hot little hands.

DFIL is getting better day by day and we hope he will be able to go home in a couple of weeks. When you're 84 and diabetic, healing doesn't happen quickly - but it is happening, and we're very thankful!

We'll be on our way back home tomorrow and I'll list my stash acquisition then. Thank you all for your good wishes for the holiday and DFIL's health!
