Endless

Here we go again, more snow and freezing rain later. Yesterday there was snow on the ground, but not on this picnic table outside our office in Kennewick.

This winter will live on in our memories for a long time!

Since the trip to Florida, my stitchy bug has taken a bit of a hiatus. A couple of times in the last week I've picked up a project, but not every night like I was. I think the snow is getting to me.

But I did complete a tree on my VS Jingle Bells Xmas Tree Farm!

Lots of backstitching. It reminds me of the Christmas tree at the top of the Heirloom Christmas Sampler, just a lot smaller.

And I started the bird in Blossoms and Blackbirds.

Oh yeah, I got more of the blue border done too - gotta give myself a little credit, lol!

This morning I warmed up my car and brushed off the snow to go after 3 of my grandkids for the morning. I typically like to go to the McDonald's playland, or over to Krispy Kreme to watch the donuts go down the line, but today we went through the drive-thru at McD's and got some hot chocolate to drink at my house while watching Floogals (a cartoon). The fewer times in and out of the car and less driving the better today! But they still got a treat and their mom had fewer distractions while teaching her literature class.

Warmer weather is coming - that's my new mantra.

Sorry about the snow.
We have some cold weather coming in at the weekend.
Your stitching looks great love the first one with the trees .
It takes me time to get going again after a holiday with my stitching too.
But once that needle is back in my hand there is no stopping me .
It is just so relaxing .
I always start a new one if I find i can't get going and maybe work on a few at the same time.
Have a great day.

I think the stitching is looking great! I know what you mean. Today the snow is finally gone but lots of rain and winds. I just hope the power stays on as they still have outages from Mon. I hope you are right about spring!

Love your stitching as always and your photos are so good. Sorry about all the snowy weather. Our weather just flip flops between springlike and winter....on almost a daily basis.

Love the Jingle Bells Farm that does look nice.
We've had a few flakes of snow all day long, but as the ground was so wet it didn't settle, they have predicted more for the weekend though.
Spring is on the way.....

Great progress! The snowy trees look like your outdoor view!

You've had a lot of snow this year.
It was 44 here yesterday, so the little snow we've had melted.
The back and forth temps are so weird.
Almost 50 one day, then-9 the next!!
Glad you got a little stitching done, it's better then none. :)

I know that feeling when you look at the piles of snow outside and you can't imagine that they will ever go away, sigh. But I hope that are snow free by now.
