I have been using a big Ott light to stitch under, but find that spending too much time under it in the evening disturbs my sleep. I gotta get my sleep! So far so good with the mag light.
This week I've been working on the "J" square in Red Velvet Inscription, although you really can't see it in the above pic. The magnifier makes working on 40 ct linen easy!
How are you doing with your Christmas preparations? I'm almost done shopping for gifts and groceries. With grown up kids now, it's nice to outsource some of the cooking! I'm behind on getting cards out, but they'll get done before New Years Day. 😄
In case I don't get to write another post before Sunday, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Wow! Looks like the light works very well!
I just need to wrap gifts. And bake cookies. With oven help to avoid headaches!!
We're all set for Christmas. The presents are wrapped and we've even placed them under the tree! We are celebrating it early on the 23rd because sadly I work all of the special days this year. Wishing you all the best this Christmas! :)
Thank you for sharing the link to your floor lamp. I really have to do something different and I think this looks like it might do the trick. I hope you have a wonderful Holiday, I am looking forward to reading your blog and sharing your adventures in 2017
Merry Christmas Von: I love my mag light.
I have a floor lamp magnifier from 1997 and it still works good but the mag is better.
I baked yesterday wrap tomorrow, then the celebration begins.
