And since it is Wednesday, I have a couple of wips to share with you!
A Moment in Chalk |
And I've added a bit to Spot of Autumn:
The cap of the acorn is done with a double backstitch - a first for me. And I'm unhappy with my satin stitches, so I'll be redoing those. Luckily this is won't take long and I hope to be happier with the result!
My DH is gone on a business trip the next couple of days so I should be able to get in a bit more stitching time than usual. Nice that I still have a few kids at home so it doesn't get too quiet in the evenings!
Until next time, stitch all the things!

Nice progress on both pieces!
I love the Moment In Chalk series, the colors looks so great against the dark fabric.
Very nice progress on both your projects.
I love doing satin stitches, just not the diagonal ones. It all depends on how many strands of threads you use for them. I sometimes take three strands if I want a better coverage.
My faith and trust are exactly where your faith and trust are my friend! I second that amen!
Such pretty stitching. The both of them.
I don't like nights alone!! Lovely wips.
Lots of nice projects going on. Enjoy your stitching time.
Beautiful WIPs! I'm working on one set of the chalk ornaments. It's the first time I've stitched on such dark linen. Love the effect!
Von: I love the dark fabric it looks like chalk board, I have a couple of pieces and need to pick a pattern to stitch on them.
I do like to be alone at night I get loads done.
Love your Spot of Autumn, are you doing all the seasons?
Blessings
Catherine
Catching up on posts I've missed and knew I must add an "amen" to your comment regarding where our faith and trust should be...and all our hope. Beautiful stitching...I'm looking longingly at your Moment in Chalk....resisting, resisting...
Lovely progress on both
