Thorny Thursday

The sun is shining this morning and there's no breeze - for now. I guess we'll be getting some moisture later in the day. The cool mornings and moderate days have been so nice and the garden is destressing from the summer heat.

Here's what's blooming today:

Koko Loko
Jayne Austin
Sheila's Perfume
Hollyhocks
A couple of hollyhocks have put out new growth and flowers!

Tomorrow my sister and bro-in-law will be stopping by on their way back home from a week up at Lake Pend Oreille, just in time for the Boise State football game against New Mexico! I've invited my kids to come over to visit, so today I'll be going to Costco to stock up on game food. Then on Saturday morning early, I'll be heading up to Spokane for my church's women's retreat. It's supposed to be rainy and cool, but the Bozarth Mansion is warm and cozy with beautiful views - a perfect place to be on a damp fall day!

I hope your weekend is filled with joy and rest!

Von: What lovely floral photos, I love when people share photos of flowers, our summers are so short here in Minnesota and it refreshing to see flowers.
Plus i do not have anything but hanging baskets with flowers, next year we are doing a makeover of the yard maybe roses, I had roses at out last home.
Thank-you for sharing with us.

Blessings
Catherine
