Thorny Thursday (Before the Rain Came)

Well, today the rain has returned and looks like it's going to be stormy for the next few days as the remnants of Typhoon Songda hits the PNW. But my friends on the west side and coast are going to get the brunt of it, so stay safe everyone! Looks like a good weekend to stay inside and stitch!

Before the rain came, I got outside to snap a few pics of the roses that are blooming this week.

The season is definitely winding down. Yesterday morning was quite cold with temps down into the 30s. A part of me is looking forward to the down time and hoping that next year I have more gardening gumption to take better care of my rose sweeties.

Wishing you all a very good day!

The roses are beautiful! We were supposed to go out and around this weekend but decided we should stay in!

I hope your roses survive the bad weather. We are ready for the storms , I think. We do have a generator. After living many years without one, I can't even think of not having one now. Our neighbor has gone deer hunting on your side of the mountains so we are also going to help his wife if the weather is as bad as they are predicting!

You must live in the perfect climate for roses--they are so lovely. Hope the storms weren't too hard on them...
