Thorny Thursday

Well, it's Thursday. I thought it felt like Thursday on Tuesday for some reason and the gals in my office felt the same. Might have something to do with adjusting to a new school schedule. The weather has been really great. The mornings are definitely crisper, the afternoons gloriously warm. At a lower angle the sun isn't so harsh. It's time to take down the shade sails in the back yard.

The roses are liking the cooler weather!

There's football tonight, so I should get a good start on October - Joyful World SAL. My goal is to actually get it stitched before the first of October. Feels like a puny goal compared to so many other stitchers out there, lol!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

I always enjoy seeing your lovely roses. The weather has been so great! They say rain returns this week-end. My garden is very dry so maybe that's a good thing.

Lovely, lovely roses! Yes they do like the cooler weather. I find a lot of mine sort of wilt in late summer then revive when the cooler fall weather kicks in. It's been great (weather) here and I've been out in the garden. Like Barb said, rain is coming this weekend!

Pictures of your roses are always a delight to see. My garden is completely out of control. It has been so hot, and now dry, that I have not been outside. Hoping for cooler weather to rescue what remains. Looking forward to seeing your stitching for October.

Great September finish for the SAL.
