Blooming Today

The summer weather is continuing and the garden is loving the sunshine as much as I am! This morning I got in a bit of clean up before going in to the office and here is what I found.

Angel Face
Fragrant Plum
The Impressionist
Since I didn't get out earlier to prune, the garden is looking a bit jungle-like. True confession here - I really like it that way!

I love jungle-like gardens, and my husband does, too. So we just trim whatever is necessary and leave the rest as it is. And it's gorgeous.

What a beautiful flower. I like the jungle look too. My DH always wants to get rid of that look. I think it is his background as an engineer,he likes things neat and tidy.

Beautiful roses. My yellow one is blooming and the knockout roses have started to bloom as well. I say my garden flowers are happy growing in their reckless abandon. Because we're so close to the woods, etc...I just say mine is a naturalized garden...that's my excuse for its jungle like appearance.
