The Hurrier I Go . . .

the behinder I get.

It's been a typical almost-spring week. Rain showers, wind, and wonderful sunshine followed by more rain, etc. The forsythia are starting to bloom in my neighborhood, so I need to get out and begin pruning the roses. The garden isn't that pleasant right now, but I know that soon it will once again be in full bloom. These pictures keep me going through the winter.

I'm not sure how much I'll actually get to work outside this weekend as it's supposed to rain again. And the grandkids are coming over in the evening, plus son Kevin and Sarah will be coming down for the weekend!

Oh, and I have to clean my carpets as I host Bunco next week. Yikes! Too much to do!

Your roses are just wonderful. I will get to mine this week-end. Or more accurately, the DH and I will get to them. He is being a wonderful help. My back still does not let me do all the work that I would like to.

I can see how those gorgeous photos help you through the winter months! I can only dream of gardens like that with our hungry "will eat anything" deer population :)
