Throwback Thursday

Since my life has been all about the garden lately, I thought I'd share a little bit of stitching from way back - 20 years ago when my twin boys were born.

I didn't have a lot of time to stitch with twins and four older children, but somehow managed to get these done. Can't remember the designer or pamphlet, but I thought the Noah's Ark theme was appropriate for the twins' room.

Those early days with the twins were exhausting and joyful. I remember that it was a great treat to just get out to 7-11 for ten minutes to get a soda every day, lol!

Since I have so many, I'll throw in a rose pic as a bonus!

What adorable little stitches. When my children were babies, i was into crewel so they both had crewel designs in their rooms. another lovely rose. Ours have just started blooming.

Loved seeing the stitching. What's the name of the rose? Is it a David Austin? I think I have that one, but can't remember the name. The fragrance is heavenly.

I think your design may have been an Alma Lynne. What a great idea for twins.
