An Indoor Kind of Day

Five inches of snow and snowing, maybe all day, and now the wind has picked up. Days like this, I feel so blessed to be able to stay home. Unfortunately the kids still had school with a two-hour delay, and Brendan's college classes were on-time. I thought for awhile I'd have to drive him with my 4-wd suv, but DH's meeting was canceled and he volunteered to take him for me. My hero! :)

The iron is heating up to iron a few shirts for DH, the laundry machines are humming, and then I think I'll cuddle up with some stitching and tea this afternoon. A day like this doesn't come around very often, so one must take advantage!

Sounds like you had the best snow day :-)

I hope you managed to get plenty stitching in

Definitely looks like a stay-indoor-and-stitch day! With tea, of course!

Happy stitching!

Weather like that calls for pretty stitches. Enjoy!

Yup, that pretty much looks like it does around my place right now!
I'm also feeling very fortunate that now I'm retired I don't have to commute in all that mess anymore.
I am loving those afternoons with stitching and a cuppa! Stay warm!
