The weather has turned out to be quite fine, so fine that I was able to get most of the back yard cleaned up and all the roses fertilized. The roses are beginning to look pretty good, areas are filling in nicely, and new ideas are ruminating in my brain.
After blowing out a bunch of leaves and washing things down, I was able to sit back and enjoy the blossoms.

Your roses are gorgeous! They remind me of my home growing up. Our city is known as the Rose City and roses were in abundance. I can still remember the climbing roses that each summer would cover our back yard fence. Sadly I don't seem to have as much luck with roses where I'm living now. The winters are a little too harsh on them.
