I just finished stitching the algerian eyelets in the top hardanger hearts section of A Legacy of Love by Connie of
The Lacey Thread, and I couldn't help but admire the little bit of glitz the Kreinik metallic adds to the design! I love eyelets - all that pulling really helps me release the tension of a stressful day. This time, however, I tried to restrain myself from pulling too tightly so that more of the metallic thread could be showcased and catch the light. Sooooo pretty. :)
Now back to more of those flowers.
Oh yes, I got to babysit my grandchildren today, all four of them!! It seems like it's been ages since that's happened. They're all excited to come to Nana's on Saturday for egg dying and hunting. Now if we can just get the weather to cooperate with us!

Now that's some "bling" that I can get into! ;)
Those are beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen those with some glitz inside of them. How pretty!
It's looking gorgeous
I'm amazed that you found time to stitch! Connie's design is lovely. Have a great Easter with your family - especially those grandkids!
Kathryn : )
That's brilliant! The metallic looks so good in the center as eyelets. Beautiful!
Looks so pretty! Have fun with the kiddies - hope you have good weather!
That metallic really is a nice touch on those eyelets. Very pretty!
A Victorian Sampler retreat... you are so lucky. I love the piece you'll be doing.
