Drippy Day

The morning began gray and dreary and the promised rainfall appeared. Following Barbara's lead, I stoked up the oven and began to bake.

Cookies were requested for a dear woman's funeral reception tomorrow, so several dozen are for that. But as long as all those ingredients were out, I might as well bake some for Good News Club, and some for the freezer. In all . . . eighteen dozen.

By the time I started the second batch of cookies, the sun blew in on a stiff breeze. Looks like a mixed bag of weather for Easter weekend.

On the stitching front, I must send a thank you to the nice folks at Kreinik for featuring my previous blog post on their Facebook page today! What a day brightener that is. :)
