I Need Color!

Here we are in mid-January with so many gray days. Much of my stitching the last few months has utilized two colors of brown and a black. As pleased as I am with AQS (and thank you for all your admiring comments!) I felt a real need to break out some bright colors for a quick project.

I had just the thing in my stash: Blossoms by Dinky-Dyes Designs, which I'm stitching on a white 32 ct. linen over two using two threads because I want that blast of color. It's a fun little design that came with the silk pack. Mmmmm, love those silk threads!

You definitely got color! IF that doesn't perk a person up, I don't know what would. Very pretty.

What a great little project for the dreary days of January! AQS is lovely, but I know what you mean about the colors... sometimes you just need a splash of something more cheery. :)

I know exactly how you feel, Von. We haven't seen any colours but white outside for weeks now. And I'm longing for spring. Isn't it reat that we can have spring when we are stitching? I'll start a colourful project one of the next days. Yours looks so promising.

I have this one in my stash, too! Maybe I should break it out for a quick stitch, once I finish what I'm working on. What a lovely bit of color to work on!
