The mail has been rather fun to collect this week.
Mylene had a drawing on her blog last month for this delightful biscornu that she stitched and sewed together. I won it! It's very bright and cheerful - and stitched beautifully. Thank you so much Mylene!
Then my Mother's Day gift from the kids arrived, direct from Mike and Carol's Ebay Store - a pair of Gingher Designer Series embroidery scissors by the name of Roberta! I love my embroidery scissors, every single pair and the designer series is especially fun to own and use. :D
The weekend is shaping up to be another busy one. Tonight my boys will be spending the night training for their upcoming CYIA camp, Kirsten has softball practice in the afternoon, then Pinewood Derby in the evening.
I have shopping to do to prepare for dinner on Saturday as DH's dad and stepmom are driving up from Boise for a little visit. The weather is supposed to be perfect, so I think we'll have a picnic at one of our city parks. It's much easier to handle a small crowd there - and why not take advantage of a beautiful day?!
The Memorial Day holiday is coming up the next weekend, so we need to do a little planning. I think we'll get a little ways out of town with the trailer, but which direction should we go? Hmmm, we'll have to think on that one.
You know a good activity to think by? Weeding! Yep, there's plenty more to do so I should get to it. Have a great weekend, dear reader!!
