The room we had at the top of the Harbour Towers was very spacious and comfortable for our group. We had use of it for stitching on Thursday evening and all day Friday. The real treat was Saturday stitching all day at the VS studio, otherwise known as Thea's house.
Thea, Lisa, and Cathy served us a delicious lunch, then topped it off with an afternoon break of strawberry shortcake loaded with whipped cream.
In a snap the day was over. As the bus was pulling away, Thea was still waving; hmmm, sad to see us go perhaps? Probably relieved to have her house quiet once again and looking forward to taking a Monday holiday. :)
I'll fill in a few details of the retreat later this week. First I must cross the water and a lot of land to get back to Kennewick. I've heard from the kids that DH has made them clean the house! Maybe going back won't be so bad after all. :D
