Holiday Stitching

Between Thanksgiving and New Years I managed to get in a little bit of ornament stitching from the 2008 JCS Ornament issue. Far too often I have purchased the magazines, dreamed through them, then set them aside. This year I determined to actually stitch some of the ornaments - easy ones that required little brainpower as my limited supply was being used elsewhere. :)

This last one is my first little finish of 2009!

All these designs were stitched out of little bits of leftovers from my embroidery basket. I think the fabric is just large enough to make pinkeeps or something similar. Who knows when I'll get a finishing day now that we will be getting back into the normal school schedule tomorrow.

Great job, Von! I love them. It's always nice to make something so lovely from little oddments of thread and fabric!

Von your ornaments all look gret! I always look through my scraps of fabrics first when starting an ornamnet. Why cut up a virgin piece right?
