Life Changing

Once upon a time I had four beautiful children and I thought, "We should have one more!" Well, we certainly got more than we bargained for when the ultrasound confirmed there were twins on the way. Then on this day in 1993, I'd had enough of carrying around 16 pounds of babies so we started labor and a couple hours later these guys came on the scene.

Kyle and Kevin - 2000

They were beautiful, healthy babies for which we were ever-so grateful. But caring for twins while also raising four other kids, homeschooling, etc., really stretched me far beyond my capabilities. All I can say is praise God that He helped us through the sleep-deprived days and nights, responsibilities, and overwhelming workload and blessed us with these two great guys. I wouldn't have missed this ride for anything!

Happy birthday boys! I love you like crazy. :)

I'm a bit behind these days. Congrats to your boys. I only carried 12 lbs of baby - can't imagine getting to 16. My girls are thriving - thanks for your kind words of support on my blog.
