Days Go By

The weather has cooled this week and we're having more typical spring days - a mix of sun, breezes, rain showers, and a bit of lightning last night. My rose garden is blooming quite nicely, several pots have been planted (with more yet to do), the school year is drawing to a close, graduations are upon us, and the lazy days of summer are ahead. Except that lazy days are only in my imagination.

I hope my U.S. friends had a nice Memorial Day weekend. My family celebrated by packing up the trailer and heading up the road a ways to Central Ferry State Park, located on the Snake River about two hours from our home in Kennewick (less if not pulling a trailer).

In my hurry to get out of the house on Friday, I left my camera at home on the counter so pictures of our weekend will have to wait till I can pull them from DH's camera. Central Ferry is really in the middle of mile after mile of farmland, the nearest small town is about 30 miles away. We spent most of the weekend quietly at the park, or geocaching, or hiking a bit around Palouse Falls. Nice time!

Back at home now, I've spent some time on a new card design.

It's all purpose and . . . happy!

More to come.

Question for you re: your cards - are you using standard blank cards and envelopes as your base? You know, the kind you buy at ACMoore or Michaels? Or something else?
