Quiet on the Home Front

After the burst of sewing energy expended in the creation of Ilse's christening gown, I took a little time off and didn't accomplish much at all last week. The ipod has a solitaire game that saw far too many games played. I did work on a couple of small cross-stitch freebies.

The muscles in my neck and shoulders are all bunched up and finally produced an awful headache yesterday morning. Melanie tried working on my neck a bit, but told me the muscles were just too knotted, so I called my massage therapist friend for a quick appointment. Thankfully she was able to get me in and started working out the knots. I left feeling much better, even breathing better, but I'll be back in a few days for more work.

Our friend Andrea is becoming a specialist in baby photography with the current baby boomlet at church. Here's a nice one of Ilse in her gown.

Thank you for all your encouraging comments on Ilse's christening gown. It's so nice to have online friends to share my life with.

I am not very enamored of babies, but who could resist that pink angel in her lovely gown? What a great photo!

Aww, what a sweet little thing! Love that halo effect (or whatever effect it is) from the photo! And in case I didn't already comment - which I honestly can't remember if I did! - what a beautiful gown. That's a wonderful memento for Ilse.

May I say that Ilse is an astonishingly beautiful baby I think she has a great sense of humour too. You can see it in her eyes! What a gorgeous picture of her in her gown.

I hope you will start to feel better soon, Von! Hey, and playing all those games on your iPod can't be good for the old muscles. I, er... know from experience.
