Giving Thanks

Once again Thanksgiving weekend finds us in Boise, as is our tradition. This year DH's dad and stepmother are on a cruise through the Panama Canal with all his siblings, so the family gathering consists of our brood of six plus one boyfriend, DH's brother and wife and their three sons, and my sister, her husband and their two children - and all the dogs, our Fritz and three big dogs belonging to Jim and Paula. Quite a gang!

I'm so thankful for all our family and that right now we're all in good health. I'm thankful for ice-free roads and traveling in safety! I'm thankful for the good times we can share together as a family and the wonderful memories our kids have of holidays together. God has provided for all our needs and so much much more that I dare not take up the space here on this blog. :)

But I must make a couple more additions. . . I'm thankful for a quiet day to stitch! DH has spent the day geocaching with his brother and the kids while I've had the day alone in our hotel room. I've been working on Deb's nrr today and watching a bit of tv. Tonight we'll all be watching the BSU football game as they play the University of Hawaii. Go Broncos!

I'm also thankful for all of you dear blogging friends who stop by my little part of the internet and enrich my life with your friendship!

Wonderful family contact AND a day for yourself to stitch and relax! Goodness, that does sound like some prayers come true! :D
