It Looks Like Winter!

Now it not only feels like winter, it looks it too. But not too much, so no complaints here. Many of you are dealing with worse! I did have to get the three youngest over to the orthodontist this morning (the twins had to have a mold made of their mouths, and Kirsten had to tag along). The roads are kinda slick, but I just popped the Expedition into 4-wheel drive, drove slowly and had nary a skid. Hurray for 4-wheel drive! DH had to drop his car off at Les Schwab this morning to have the studded tires installed, then walked to the office from there - not far.

Last night I got inspired by Radiogirl and made up a couple of cards that I finished this morning. She's made some great cards, so I like to check on her often. Also this morning I found this most fabulous scrapping room, but it could be used for all our needlework hobbies too! Click on this link and have a kleenex handy to wipe your mouth off. Definitely a dream space!

My grandsons will be here this afternoon, so I'm thinking my new camera will get a real workout. Be prepared!

Crikey, I thought my financial bills were bad recently, but your orthodontist bills take the cake! As for the snow, I'm sitting here very unattractively in pants, bra and camisole in the middle of the afternoon (something else I won't be able to do living with someone else haha) trying to cool down ... I'd give anything to jump into that snow and roll around in it right about now! ;P

Lovely card Von! That room is fabulous - the space alone is just amazing. Oh well, something to aspire to in the future, I think ;)

Beautiful cards!!! Yeah, I took the boys to the dentist this a.m., too. The roads are very slippery in places.

And, yes, the piecemaker needles have a different 'eye' than the John James. When I did hand quilting, I started buying the size 12 Piecemakers [quilting needles] -- thus, when I began to try my hand with cross stitching ... naturally, I bought the Piecemakers!

The John James petite has a sturdy 'eye' IMO - while the Piecemaker has a very narrow one [in the size 28s]

It has now reached 0 C degrees here tonight so maybe if we are lucky we will get a smattering of snow :-)
Enjoy your week!
