Crash

That is what I do following a period of busyness. Anyone else?

Tuesday at noon our dear family left Kennewick for their homes in Boise/Meridian, Idaho. Under my comfy fleece shirt, I was still wearing my nightie, and a couple hours later I was napping on the couch. Wednesday morning I slept late and did only a little bit of housework, seemingly mesmerized by the television. I don't think it helped that we've had day after day of grayness and even rain. The prospects of beginning a new stitching project couldn't tempt me out of my haze.

Today we have a break in the clouds, the sky is bright and clear. Already I feel much more cheerful and energetic. Better get as much done as possible as the clouds will be with us again later today!

I let everyone else have the crash this year. LOL.

Actually, I've really been enjoying these quiet days between Christmas and New Year. It feels so cozy to be inside when it's dark outside.

Yup, I crash too. Actually, today I'm trying to figure out some things on the computer - like setting up a blogroll! Normally, I don't have this much time to spend on it!

Von, it's so good to heve the big holidays behind so we can get back to "normal" living, and I did the same thing you did. I said "Ahhhh," and I crashed. Like many other stitchers, I'm sure, I'm looking forward to a productive new year, and I wish you & yours the joys and growing that a new year bring. Nice visiting you once again.
