The Corner and More
Now you can see more of my desk with the little haven of peace in the corner. There's always a project of some sort being worked on here. Usually, there are school papers being corrected, but yesterday I decided to make a couple of cards as a good friend of mine is celebrating her fiftieth birthday at lunch today with a group of girlfriends. I was inspired by a previous project from stamp club - a spinner card. Next I chose my card stock colors, then the stamps and ink pads. My wonderful paper cutter was used and I just had FUN playing with my stuff!
Guess I've had quite a bit of fun this week with my crazy patch project going as well. Our guild meeting last week was a short one, just going over some of the techniques used in construction and how to couch some of the fibers on top of the patches. Got home in plenty of time to catch Grey's Anatomy, then ER.
Today I have lunch with friends, grocery shopping, then my stamp club meets tonight. The weather is still gorgeous - our last bit of summer. This is a new little shrub I planted a few weeks ago that has blossomed into these gorgeous bluish-purple blooms that the bees are just going crazy over. I'd tell you what kind of shrub it is if I could only find the tag - I'm sure it's here somewhere. :D

What a great workplace you have, mine is just too small and messy.
Such beautiful flowers, enjoy! Here's autumn showing with all the leaves falling and weather getting cooler.
Your stamp card looks good too, well done!
Have a nice wekend.
What a wonderful craft space you have! I absolutely love your card and the crazy quilt purse you're making is awesome. The colours you chose for the purse are so bright and cheerful. :)
You're workspace is lovely, I keep aiming for something that uncluttered but it's not happened yet (I've currently got two computers on my desk :\)
Your card and crazy quilt are looking lovely.
Cool corner Von. You are so creative and I am sure your friend will love her birthday card.
Another beautiful card! (Oops, can you tell that I'm reading your posts in reverse order?)
