Another bright shiny autumn day is upon us to be followed by more sunny days this week, perfect fall weather.

DH put up another section of shelves and I have some of the homeschool book collection out, but have many more boxes to go. Just having some space to get it all together where I can see it and sort it out is a big help.

More progress has been made on shelving DH's books into the three oak bookcases. They had been put away several years ago when we were preparing for a whole-house remodel, which didn't make it past the drawing board. He feels much more secure when he has his library accessible and he'll soon be spending some time putting his precious books back in order. Several more boxes of his books are waiting for me in the garage, which will fill every shelf here plus more on my side of the room.

Saturday I did a little shopping at JoAnns for more purse supplies and Sunday I was able to spend some time cutting fabric strips. Having bought just fat quarters, I don't have a piece of fabric long enough for the lining and the straps, so I'll do a little stash dive to see what I can come up with. When I start a project like this I always wonder why I don't do more of them! It's so much fun!

So you also make purses. What is it that you can't do? I bet you're trying to find something without success! lol...
Looking forward to seeing this one!
I couldn't do without my books either, but I had to make some room recently for DH's DVDs... The books are at my mom's... I mean, a few of them...lol...
Take care!

I don't feel so bad having a ton of books I rarely look at when you have so many you actually use. I love getting organized too!
