The landscapers have been by and taken their measurements, but I haven't received any numbers yet. This morning the guy from Perfection Glass came, measured all the windows and gave us a very attractive bid. Hurray! It also included two new sliders for our family room with construction/electrical costs. The sliders will let in lots of much needed light and great access to the new back yard. Friday morning the heating/ac guy will come in and take measurements for a new heat pump with ducting for the upstairs and a mini-split system for the basement family room. With all this plus the other projects we've done over the last three years, the house will be almost new again. With the notable exception of the bathrooms - ugh.
Wanted to get in this quick update while I had a few minutes. I really need to spend some time straightening the house and with laundry. Dinner should be on the table soon, but it's not started yet, and I need to bake bread as we've been out for a couple of days.
Stitching? Well, I look at it longingly as I walk by.

House upkeep is always neverending. CONGRATS on getting the new windows and sliders. I am sure your new back yard will be magnificient.
You will get back to stitching soon. I know when we started the remodel, I barely put in a stitch as I was too stressed out. Now I am making up for the lost time. :)

Glad you are getting your place spiffy too! I'm getting a couple of new windows next Friday. I can't wait. Funny thing, I want to do the bathroom next because I still have the old toidy from 46 yrs ago-not water efficient at all.

That laundry just never goes away does it? ,as I am folding something I think" How many times
