Yucky Wednesday

Phew, glad Wednesday is over and everyone is feeling a little better. It started Tuesday night at bedtime with Kyle getting the pukies, then Kevin a short time later. I stayed up with them until about 1 a.m. While they were still having episodes, they pretty much took care of themselves, so I left them snuggled on the living room floor and I went to bed. In the morning, I didn't feel real well, Brendan got up and he was sick too. So now I had three sick boys on the living room floor, mostly sleeping with the TV on. I had a terrible headache, fever and chills so I went back to bed and slept the morning away. In the afternoon I got up and laid out on the couch near my boys and we just spent the rest of the day there making the rest of the family fend for themselves. This morning, Geoff wasn't feeling well and we haven't seen him at all, and DH isn't well either, but he finally got to the office.

How do you feel about staying totally true to a pattern? Do you feel that you have to rip out stitches to fix a mistake or do you feel it's acceptable to incorporate a mistake into the design?

While I greatly admire the talent of all our wonderful designers, I do feel I can take liberties with the design when it suits me. I have often changed a color scheme, as well as incorporating an error of mine into the design rather than rip it out. Sometimes I have just stitched over a mistake. It all just depends, doesn't it!

Oh, Von, I hope you will all be fully recuperated soon! It's so awful when the whole big family comes down ill at once.
