Sabbath Rest

God was so good to us in giving us one day in seven for worship and rest! I spent my Sunday afternoon working on "Summer" a companion to this "Spring Banner" by Victoria Sampler. I have only a few more days of summer to complete this banner and I believe I'll be doing that happy dance by Wednesday. :) The scotch stitch that surrounds the design is complete and I'm about half way through the blanket stitching.

After evening service we returned home and I continued my stitching and watched "Shall We Dance", a nice movie to end the day.

Later this afternoon, I'll go back outside with my boys and we'll once again work at filling the hole in my garden.
