A Finish!

Over the Thanksgiving weekend I put the final stitches into A Moment in Chalk by Hands On Designs!

It  was stitched on Weeks Dye Works 30 ct linen Gunmetal with the called for WDW overdyed floss. Next I will sew on the JABC buttons that came with the design, then I'll have to find a frame. Craft Warehouse had something interesting that might be perfect. I'll just have to take in some measurements to be sure.

The Confection Selection that our church hosted was another great success. Not only did we raise funds for the Tri-Cities Pregnancy Network, but the leftover goodies will go out to the Sacred Road Ministries on the Yakama Reservation for some of their Christmas celebrations this month. Here's a pic of grandson Isaac with his gingerbread cookie!

He's growing so fast!

They say that snow is coming later today. Ready or not, winter is here!

Such a cute little baby, you must be so proud. Congratulations on your finish, it is a very beautiful piece of stitching and on a dark background that makes it even more difficult. Greetings from New Orleans.

Congratulations on the Happy Dance, I do like these chalk board designs. The white on the dark is so effective.
That gingerbread man is almost as big as Isaac is! I doubt he'll be eating it this year though, bless him!
