WIP Wednesday

This has been a pretty good stitching week and I have a few pics of the progress I've made. First of all I've been moving quickly on Brew Haha by Plum Street Samplers.

The pumpkin is such a funny-looking fellow and he's lovin' his coffee - at least that's what I imagine is in all those mugs!

The little Drawn Thread design is coming along nicely too.

All You Need is Love
Such a sweet design.

The heart in the bottom left corner is a trellis heart and the one to the right is a Rhodes heart. I get a little nervous when first attempting these motifs, but the chart includes such clear diagrams, that they're quite easy to achieve. And what a lovely result!

Last up today is the progress I've made on Red Velvet Inscription by Blue Ribbon Designs.

I like how each individual design square lets me have a mini-finish!  Here's what the entire piece is looking like:

I'm closing in on a page finish as well.

Well the dishwasher repair guy just left. I'm so glad I bought the extended warranty and even extended that for another year as I've more than made my $ back. It's been a good dishwasher over all, but they made so many plastic parts that have worn out and broken off that I've had to replace. Plus that machine has gotten a big workout over the years in my large family. And when kids load dishwashers, things get put in there that shouldn't be and things get broken. So I do recommend extended warranties on dishwashers, and I take my chances on other appliances. Your mileage may vary. :)

Back to work for me! Have a good one!

Such pretty stitching and those hearts are well worth the stress in stitching them.

You had lots of great stitching in this post. I am so happy you got to take advantage of the extended warentee. I always seem to loose money on them.

Von: I am in love with your Pumpkin, he is a hoot.
I am in love with Drawn Thread, I have several designs kitted up in my I have to do basket.
The Red Velvet is beautiful, did you choose the fabric or did the instructions say to use that fabric, it is lovely.
Thank-you for visiting my Blogspot, I will add you to my follower list tomorrow.

Blessings
Catherine

Very nice, the progress on your WIPs. And the little pumpkin isn't a WIP any longer as I remember having seen it finished in a newer post.
