February Finish

February - Joyful World SAL
Sunday afternoon I had the opportunity to sit and finish the February design of the Joyful World SAL. My husband and I decided to not go out, opting for a salad from Costco to eat at home.

Since it's a long weekend for Presidents' Day, some of the college kids came home for the weekend. Our son Kevin and his wife visited from Cheney and Kirsten's boyfriend found a way home from Arco, Idaho, where he's getting in a semester on a working cattle ranch while also taking some online classes. Poor Kyle is without wheels this quarter and didn't find a way home.

The Ladies' Bible study at church had their last lesson for the season on Friday, so that means my duties with the kids in Story Hour is over as well - until the fall. What a fun group of children!

I've been taking a couple of my grandchildren to Story Hour, and I think that since we ended so early I will continue to pick them up on Friday mornings to do something fun.

Any ideas?

Sounds like great Valentine's Day! We stayed home too. That is one cute bunch of kids. How about making cookies with your grand children?

Love your February blocks...how about making some felt finger puppets and let the grands tell stories? I've seen some cute finger puppets on Pinterest.
