Joy!

We've had some gorgeous days lately and the roses that get the most sun are really starting to pop!

Lunar Mist

Lower: The Impressionist, Upper: Sky's the Limit

Peach Silk

Oh yes, the iris too!

With the good weather I've been emptying out the pots and getting them replanted. I'm especially glad to get my deck boxes replanted and happy once again!

I've begun my morning garden walks, coffee in hand, seeing what's new and just enjoying the play of color and serenity.

If you've any interest, my husband and I have started a new blog featuring the wineries near our home. Gary loves photography, we both enjoy wine and exploring the back roads, so we thought this would be a fun thing to do as our nest is practically empty. You can find it at:

Winery A Week

I hope you are enjoying the simple pleasures in life today!

Oh, how beautiful! My dad was an avid rose grower for many years. We can't grow them here as they are just deer food...

The flowers look wonderful!! I will take a look at the wine blog. If we get over your way, it would be very helpful. My DH is quite the wine lover.

Oh so pretty! Your yard must smell divine!

I know what you mean about freshening up those pots and boxes. I've been doing that too. Fun!

This year I've been shopping a bit at a time, planting all the purchases before I buy the next set and it's worked out remarkably well for me! So much less stress!

Happy Gardening, Von!

Wonderful, all these flowers in your garden. I also go for a walk through the garden first thing in the morning - it's such a great start into the day.

Beautiful flowers. One of my climbers getting the first morning sun has started to bloom, but the others are just budding. Would love to stroll your garden in the morning.
