Awakening

After some amazingly lovely spring weather, my garden is just about to burst into color. I am so ready!

It'll be 80F today! I have more fertilizing to do, then laying down some mulch. I can feel the vitamin D surging as I soak in the sun!

Lovely. No roses here, yet, but our peonies and iris are about to bloom as well. We've had a week of rain so I weeded and transplanted today. Tons more to do when it dries out. Hugs.

Your yard is already looking so pretty. We were over 70 today. I'm beat! We worked out in the yard for most of the day. My winter body is still not used to hard work!

Flowers? Greenery? High temps??? Good grief, it's like another world!! LOL, but I'm very glad to see someone is enjoying some fine weather. They keep assuring me that our time will come here in Downeast Maine. ;)

That's what I love so much about spring - all the greens and the colours of the flowers come back and it's always like a wonder to see all of this anew after the winter.
We have the same flowers in the garden but ours are not as far as yours. But soon ...
