No more Blooms

Along with the rest of North America, E. Washington temperatures are plunging and snow will be flying tomorrow. The last couple of days while it's been pretty dry, I've been outside mowing up leaves and gathering mulch to lay out in the rose beds. While the mornings have definitely been below freezing, the frost hasn't touched my gardens yet. And now we're ready for it.

After finishing mulching the beds yesterday, I cut the last of the blooms to enjoy indoors. I'm going to miss bringing in my pretty blooms.

With the gardening finished for awhile, I took a few minutes with Victorian Purse this morning and added the little leaves to finish off this band of stitching.

I'm starting to love that wonky petal!

Now I have to add beads, but will wait on that until I've finished stitching the back of the bag.

This is where I left off stitching the back oh so long ago. My initials are supposed to go in next, so I need to do a little graphing before stitching them in. I just love these colors!
