Blooms of Another Kind

You know I love my roses, but this afternoon I was working with the silk ribbon embroidery flowers on the VS Victorian Purse. The result is not too bad. Now to add some leaves.

I was checking out my project file with all the threads for this project and realized that the trebizond thread I need for that bargello band wasn't in the file. Maybe you have wips that the supplies have somehow been separated? Luckily, I found the little baggie with the missing threads in my stitching drawers that contain some of my wips.

While going through the drawers, I realized that I have A LOT of scissors! Of course, I knew I had quite a few, and I love them all. But maybe if I'd gone through the drawers yesterday, I wouldn't have ordered these . . .

uh, no. I definitely would still have ordered the cute Gingher scissors called Eve.

The silk roses are lovely. Wish I felt as good about my lazy daisy poinsettias. You are making good progress. I'll look forward to the leaves.
