More June-like weather has arrived in the Tri-Cities the last couple of days. This afternoon a thunderstorm rolled through, just a little one, but enough to freshen the air and hold down the dust. I've been dabbling with a little laundry, cooked salmon for dinner, and deadheaded the tops of my tall climbing roses with the ladder. A very pleasant, slow day after a busy weekend that included a bridal shower for my soon-to-be daughter-in-love, a baby shower, a girls' night out ending with a little fire in the firepot here at my house, and of course church on Sunday and then two more gatherings with friends later in the day. So much fun - but I was so ready for staying home and the rain added to the cozy feeling.
Wedding in less than two weeks!
