The waters of the Caribbean Sea were fascinating to gaze at from the balcony of my stateroom.

Most evenings DH and I tried to catch the sunset from somewhere on the ship.

Days in port were spent doing lots of fun things like cave tubing, zip lining, and swimming with the sting rays, or just relaxing on a beach.

I spent a lot of quality time with my Nook, but none with any of my needles.

The weather was perfect during the entire trip. All that vitamin sunshine gave me a great boost to get through the rest of the winter. We met some wonderful people and I even reconnected with my boss from my high school job. That was a crazy coincidence!!

Since returning home, my dad has spent a couple of days in the hospital with near-pneumonia, track season has started for not two, but three of my kids, and my schedule has not gotten any saner. Taking it all one day at a time and not looking too far ahead helps me cope with it all. :)

And memories of sunny beaches help too!

Wowsers, Von - I had no idea ship life could be so gorgeous! No wonder my father and his wife enjoy their annual cruises so much!!!

I hear ya on the crazy schedules - phew! And I know that ours will get crazier and crazier as the younger three hit their strides! LOL!

Gorgeous pictures Von! I'm glad you're feeling refreshed and ready to face the rest of winter. Hopefully you don't get much more snow in your area.

I hope your dad is feeling better soon.
