Just because I haven’t had time to stitch the last few months doesn’t mean I can’t add to the WIP pile growing next to my stitching chair, does it?
With April arriving later this week, you know that it won’t be long until it’s time for the Victoria Sampler Retreat, the very last one. I signed up for it at the end of last April’s retreat, so the project arrived at my house yesterday – ready or not!
Thea has chosen some scrumptious colors for this one.
So I have my homework to do to prepare for the retreat. I always enjoy separating the threads and making up a new project kit. Trouble is, last year’s project is still sitting unfinished, and the year before that, and . . .
Ah well, it’s all good – and pretty fun too.

It's not the projects finished that count but the joy of the journey! You're right, the colors are wonderful!!
But you can never have enough projects - right? I really like this one - very pretty!
such a lovely project! It is a good thing to take advantages of classes when they are offered. Classes are fun, you learn a lot, and eventually, there will be time to complete the projects ; )
Oh you're just doing what I'm doing, saving up for retirement! Those are beautiful colors. I'm sure you'll enjoy the retreat and stitching on this lovely piece.
We only go around once - make that WIP pile a mountain, I say!
LOL - stashing is as good as stitching sometimes. What a lovely new project.
Those colours are gorgeous, look forward to seeing the project.
Ooh - love this one!
It's all about the good times you have while you're there! You're so lucky to be able to go to her last retreat! :)
The colours are gorgeous and it looks like a beautiful project.
It looks awesome Von...I love the colours too.
Gorgeous colours! That purse is so pretty, I don't think I could resist either. Besides, didn't you know that adding to your stash is good for your health?
