While enjoying some of that sunshine streaming through the glass door of my stateroom, I stitched more on "Herb Garden Bouquet". I changed the dark blue flower there under the "K" from a lighter shade of blue as I felt there wasn't enough contrast to the blue in the flower neighboring it. The design is coming along, even though I didn't stitch as much on board the ship as I might have. You see, I also took a few naps, real afternoon naps. What a great vacation!
On my last Costco visit, this colorful bouquet called out my name, "Von, look at us! We're cheery, we're bright, we're colorful - take us home!" Could not resist the color combination, and why would I? :-D
I'll soon be setting aside the HGB project to begin stitching a model of A Legacy of Love for Connie of Lacey Thread Designs. The fabric has been stitched to the scroll bars and I've been putting in some guide lines before I actually begin the design. When Connie sent me the kit for ALOL, she included her other designs for me with a signed copy of Quaker Inspirations which she dedicated to me! What a dear thing to do. Thank you, Connie! Your friendship has been an inspiration to me for over thirty years.

I did that sampler last year! Great minds think a like! : ) Looks pretty.
Congrats with grandbaby #4. I'm the only girl out of 4 myself. He's so cute. And Rachel's little Connor has the same middle name.
Ah, you have discovered part of the reason I love Hawaii!! LOL! Sunshine in the winter is sooo worth all the money spent to acquire it!
I love you too!! Thanks for your kind words.
Yes, I am ready for warmer weather and sunny days! Your stitching is lovely and such happy colors!
Sounds like you had a lovely time away! I could use one of those myself... someday!
Lovely stitching! The flowers are fab-I wouldn't be able to resist them either.

Beautiful stitching. I'm so glad you enjoyed the cruise!
I agree, I think everyone could use a little sunshine! We've had a fairly mild winter here too. Not nearly as much snow as usual. But I'm still looking forward to my trip south.
