Connie's My Heart's Garden is a special favorite of mine combining both hardanger and silk ribbon embroidery. It's luscious! The ring pillow was designed for her own daughter's wedding and is so lovely. And Quaker Inspirations looks like a nice relaxing design after the challenge of the hardanger and SRE. :)
The deadline is Wednesday, August 12, so don't delay!
As for me, the weekend is here and we've had a break in the weather. There was even a bit of rain this morning. Brendan and I spent some time digging out a garden bed this evening without the sweaty effect that we've become so accustomed to! We're making some progress and we really need to get on with it as I have new rose babies that need a home. :)

I know you are a Victoria Sampler fan as I am. Have you seen Tea Party? I have been thinking about it. Really lovely but it has lots of specialty stitches, but I may be up for the challenge on it. We are still in a heat wave here. Hottest summer on record here in Texas and I wish it would cool off. It is definitely stitching weather here.
Isn't it nice to have cooler weather again??? Those 95+ days were a bit rough. Although these grey days are hard in August. Oh well, guess we can't get everything we want, right!
