I should have posted this earlier, but I guess my brain has been addled by all the chaos around here. Anyway, Thea at The Victoria Sampler is hosting a Summer Biscornu Contest for the members of the VS Yahoo Group. This group is open to all stitchers and if you are already a member of other Yahoo groups, you know how easy it is to join the group! On the group page is a file with the pattern of the biscornu to be stitched with your own choices of threads, ribbons, beads, or other embellishments you might like to add.
The contest ends at the end of June then all the members of the group can vote for their favorite biscornu. The winner will get $50 in VS gifts and the picture of the biscornu, with list of materials, will be published in the Free Patterns section of the VS website.
I know many of you, my stitching friends, love these little tuffets and here's your chance to show off your creativity. Hurry over to the Victoria Sampler Yahoo Group, join up, then print off this pretty biscornu pattern, and let the creative juices flow.
There are several beautiful entries posted on the Yahoo group website - perhaps the next one will be yours!
